About this check
No. It shows where the common gaps are. Only an independent CPA firm can give a SOC 2 opinion, and it will test whether each control operated over a period, not just whether it exists.
A Type I looks at whether controls are designed properly at a point in time. A Type II tests that they operated over a window, often three to twelve months. Many buyers accept a Type I to unblock a first deal, with a Type II to follow. Ask the customer which they need before you choose.
Nowhere. The check runs in your browser, sends nothing, and stores nothing. Closing the tab clears it.
Close the "not yet" items first, because they are where an audit stalls. Most "partly" answers are a matter of keeping records of something you already do. That record keeping is the part TrustLynce automates.
